Who am I?
It is my joy and passion to share what I have learned, helping others find clarity and flow on the path to realizing their own dreams.
I am a flutist from Finland and have lived many years abroad—first in New York, then in Peru. I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School, where I studied with the great Julius Baker, and I graduated earlier from Finland’s Sibelius Academy. I have had the honor of performing with many renowned artists in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls across the United States, Finland, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Mongolia, France, Italy, Indonesia, Chile, and Peru.
Much of my work is devoted to contemporary music, always exploring new ways of expression through voice, breath, and movement. This has led to my own improvised music, inviting listeners to journey deep within their own hearts. In New York, I created dozens of workshops and interactive multicultural concerts for children through Lincoln Center, the Midori & Friends Foundation, and the Euro Kids Festival in Washington, D.C.
